All vehicle rentals are governed by a comprehensive Rental Agreement, which will be provided at the time of booking confirmation or when you collect your vehicle. This document outlines specific terms, conditions, insurance information, fees, and your responsibilities for the rental. In case of any discrepancies between these Terms and the Rental Agreement, the Rental Agreement will prevail.
Eligibility Criteria
Renting a vehicle requires:

7. Restricted Activities
Prohibited Vehicle Uses
- Vehicles must not be used for any unlawful activities or purposes. This includes racing, rallying, off-roading, or engaging in other risky behaviors. Transporting hazardous materials is prohibited. Sub-letting the vehicle or permitting unauthorized drivers is not allowed. Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs is strictly forbidden. Additionally, vehicles should not be used beyond their intended design, exceed passenger or weight limits, or be driven outside the agreed geographical boundaries without prior permission.
Breach of these terms may lead to rental termination and extra fees.
8. Liability Restrictions
To the fullest extent allowed under Scottish law, Car Hire Bo'ness is not responsible for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, data, or business that may arise from your use of our services. Our total liability for any claims is capped at the total amount paid for your rental in the prior 12 months.
